Prices
Day passes are available for the ice rink. These cost €4.50 each and allow you to use the rink all day.
A pass for the entire period costs €75.
Valkenswaard on Ice also offers lockers (€3 per day, card only) and skates (sizes 29 to 46) for rent.
Opening Hours Ice Rink
Mon. to Sat. 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
Sun. 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
(From December 8 to 12 and December 15 to 19, the ice rink is open to the public from 3:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and from 12:00 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.)
Opening Hours Bar
Mon. to Thurs. 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM.
Fri. and Sat. 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM.
Sun. 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
Exceptions:
- Saturday, December 6th, Opening Night, the ice rink will be open to the public from 6:00 PM. The Bar will be open to the public from 7:00 PM.
- Thursday, December 11th, the ice rink will be closed from 6:00 PM due to Rotary.
- Monday, December 15th, during the Beer Tap Competitions, the Bar will be open until midnight.
- Christmas Eve, December 24th, the ice rink will be closed from 4:30 PM and the Bar will be open from 5:00 PM.
- Christmas Day, December 25th, the ice rink will be open from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM and the Bar will be open until 5:00 PM.
- Boxing Day, December 26th, the Bar will be open until midnight. • On New Year's Eve, December 31st, the ice rink and the Bar will be closed from 4:00 PM.
- On New Year's Day, January 1st, the ice rink will be open from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and the Bar will be open until 7:00 PM.
The Foundation reserves the right to adjust these opening hours at any time if circumstances require.
Rules
A warm welcome to Valkenswaard on Ice! To ensure a pleasant and safe atmosphere, we would like to remind you of the following rules of conduct.
- Wearing gloves is mandatory! Access to the ice is prohibited without gloves. This is to prevent injuries to limbs.
- Smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and alcohol consumption under the age of 18 are prohibited.
- Use of the ice rink and rental skates is entirely at your own risk.
- VOI assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged property.
- The children's area is only accessible to children under 7 years of age or with permission from the supervisory staff.
- Speed skates, sticks, sleds, and other equipment are not permitted.
- VOI reserves the right to remove anyone who does not adhere to the rules and normal etiquette, without refund, and to deny access (possibly for an extended period). - The rink will be completely evacuated during maintenance.
- The rink is only accessible with a valid ticket.
- Refreshments and refreshments are not permitted on the rink.
- Everyone is obligated to immediately follow the instructions of the supervisors.
Failure to do so will result in denial of entry.
- Instructions from the supervisors must be followed immediately at all times. The supervisors' decisions are final.
- Throwing ice/snowballs is prohibited.
- Video recording is available for your safety.
- By entering this facility, you agree to abide by the applicable regulations.
- The police will be contacted at all times if a criminal offense is committed.
